What sort of specific information could suffice?

charge of the particles, charge or the lysate, chemical groups on the surface of both.

nanoparticles are carrying +ive charge on their surface.the biggest issue being the paucity of information on the cytosolic protein. I guess I need to do isoelectric focusing for determination of charge on protein? Is there any other way out of determining the net charge of the protein?

What kind of chemical groups do you have on the surface of the particles? Are you looking for physisorption or chemisorption?
