Could someone help me with a recipe for DNA extraction lysis buffer from whole blood & tissue including glycerol?

We have been using traditional common lysis recipe for buffer preparation and the need for glycerol seems to enhance protein digestion according to some literature. Could someone help me with a simple and ideal recipe for DNA extraction lysis buffer including glycerol?

You can use PureLink Genomic DNA Mini Kit (Invitrogen, Cat # K1820-00) for isolation of genomic DNA from mammalian cells and tissues, mouse/rat tail, blood samples and bacteria. after preparing the lysate, genomic DNA is rapidly purified using a spin column-based centrifugation procedure.
