Recently, I started working on Q-TOF. I faced a problem in sequential steps to run samples and wonder if the run of GluFib is OK or not. Therefore, I'm looking for a written SOP for Waters Micromass Q-Tof Premier Mass Spectrometer? What's the acceptable chromatogram from GluFib to continue running the samples?
Hi Eric; GluFib is a peptide which derived from fibrinopeptide B amino acid residues 1-14. It is used as a mass spec (MS) standard in proteomic research.

Your information seems not specific. Nobody will able to help you, I think. Why don't you use correct words, but not the local abbreviations?
GFP (or GluFib) is normally used in Waters instruments (QTOF or Synapt) for lockmass recalibration (doubly charged 785m/z). I don't understand...did you run GFP in LC-MS or did you infuse it? What concentration did you use? How's your system setup? Too few info....
You might want to look up what an SoP is.
You may find SoP for a particular analysis or a sample prep protocol, but what you need here is a manual with standard procedure. Which should have been provided by Waters.
I would guess you are infusing GFB and asking yourself if the intensity and mass precision are right.
These info are in the specs of the instrument. Or in the last spec release which should normally be left to the customer after a PM.
