These days coronavirus is everywhere, I mean not only in the contaminated countries all over the globe but also in the news,.. even here in research gate I feel like people are only discussing about it.
What about the effect of this focus on coronavirus subject, on the possibility of creating kind of psychosis about the virus? and if this effect is confirmed, isn't it bad to prevent the virus?
It is all so new and unexpected that as people do not know exactly how to act.
I think the virus has affected the world in 2 main ways. One is the direct effect of the virus on health and economy, the other is the fear of the virus (which is not only difficult to differentiate from preparations for the pandemic, but sometimes disguises as that.) Some countries have (at least at the moment) very few cases of the virus, and yet their economies have been severely affected by the lock downs etc and their health systems affected by scaling down on treatment of non Covid or so called cold cases.
Pandemic has arisen many psychological disorders, and also caused to the enhancement of stress, anxiety and depression. It affected both types of people including introverts and extroverts as well. Domestic violence is also increased. And eventually number of divorce cases will increase. Due to lack of physical exercise, stress level would be increased, and people will adopt unethical activities to seek pleasure.
