I need good antibodies for alpha1A and alpha1D adrenergic receptors. I've been using one from abcam that is claimed to bind to both subtypes, but it didn't work too well. Moreover, after I've done all the work, I have found this:

Article Ten commercial antibodies for α1-adrenergic receptor subtype...

Has anyone had good experience with any of the commercially available antibodies? If so, which one it was?

My applications are Western Blot, immunohistochemistry in floating sections and (in collaboration) proximity ligation assay. Species -- rat.

Someone suggested me to look for researchers who have made their own antibodies instead of buying commercially available ones and might want to collaborate... Maybe you are one of these researchers?

Thank you!
