It is described by ATCC to use the medium from BEGM BulletKit (Lonza) to grow THLE-3. It also needs flask coating with fibronectin/collagen/albumin prior to culture.

I found some papers using DMEM supplemented wit 10% FBS instead and they didn't mention any flask coating.

Is this applicable and how would it effect the culture?
