Although in the context of sub-sahara Africa, this is difficult because parents find it improper and hard to discuss sex with their children, as this is perceived to be encouraging them to engage in sex. However, with the new generation of parents and with more awareness and sensitization, as well as, inclusion of comprehensive sexuality education in the school curriculum, parents and adolescents are more likely to be more enlightened than in the past
