I have looked through some help documents that indicate that the time-varying covariate can be constructed for an individual that has been exposed and then unexposed, or vice-versa. I was wondering how SPSS could overcome three or more permutations in the horizontal dataset layout e.g. unexposed-exposed-unexposed.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

I had watched this video before and it only dealt with a single transition with regards to exposure. For example, how would I consider a patient with multiple transitions, i.e. that was untreated between 0 and 90 days, treated from 91 days to 150 days and once again was untreated at 151 days through to follow-up end at 180 days?
