For protein expression you could try plasmids based on pKD1 - a Kluyveromyces equivalent of the S. cerevisiae 2 micron plasmid - see for example Morino et al. (PMCID PMC91648), also PMID: 1367806. If you do a Pubmed search with "pKD1 AND lactis" you'll find lots of examples. Most groups working in K. lactis seem to use pKD1 derivatives for their work. S. cerevisiae centromeres do not work in K. lactis (and vice versa - see doi 10.1007/BF00301068) so don't expect YCp plasmids to function properly even if they can be replicated and their selective marker works.
I do not have pKD1 in my collection - sorry. I suggest you contact one or more of the labs using these vectors and I am sure one of them will be able to send it to you.
