Can MMI MebraneSlides be treated with TE-Buffer in the Microwave or Steamer?

In my current work I am using MMI MembraneSlides for LCM. The tissue is paraffin-fixed and I want to stain it with immunohistochemistry. Is it possible to treat the MembraneSlides with TE buffer in the microwave or a steamer? Or does anyone have a suggestion what could be used to replace the TE buffer pretreatment without heat?
