I have two groups of cells. Group A showed lower proliferation and migration compared to group B. The cell cycle analysis of the two groups showed a larger G0/G1 phase and smaller G2/M for group A. So I can say that lower proliferation may be due to cell cycle arrest in G0/G1 phase. But my question is how to interpret the G2/M result. Can I say due to cell cycle arrest in G0/G1 phase, we observed less number of cells going under G2/M phase?

Does lower number of cells in G2/M mean lower mitosis and lower proliferation as well?
