Can insulin samples be stored for more than 6 months at -20 C and then be analysed and yield valid results?

Stability of human serum insulin

It depends on the detection method. Like if you use ELISA based detection method and kits, majority of the manufacturer recomends to store the serum/plasma freshly at -20 for 3 months. But, if cryopreservation is available I think you can store for more than 3 months. But again it will totally depend on the manufacturers instructions.
