I will be assisting my colleague to grow MCF7 cells. 75cc flasks need to ordered first.
Will this flask work for MCF7 cells ?

This flask is tissue culture treated.
I saw another flask that is cell bind treated (which is more expensive). So have the confusion if the cheaper tissue treated flask would suffice.
This question might sound silly, but the right flask needs to be ordered and work started asap !

Tissue culture treated flasks offer a surface which enables most adherent cells to attach and proliferate. MCF-7 cell line is an adherent cell line. So, tissue culture treated flask will be the right choice for growing these cells.
In a non-treated flask, MCF-7 cells may grow but it’s likely that many cellular characteristics will change as the cells struggle to anchor to the surface. Non-treated flasks lack the coating or surface treatment that provides a hydrophilic and negatively charged environment for cell adhesion, which is necessary for the attachment and growth of adherent cells.
The link you provided is right, and you may go ahead and order the flasks. Moreover, the T-75cm^2 flask has a vented cap for gas exchange which is much better as you would not have to loosen the cap while placing the flask in the CO2 incubator.
