I did the exact measurement in the same group with two different methods. I want to show that using method 2 (faster and simple), we get almost the same parameters as method 1 (slow and hard to reproduce).

Can I state this condition by doing a paired t-test and then argue as a positive condition the p = 0.8 ?

I mean, for me the p = 0.8 means that the two tests are not different, namely, they produce the same value (which is what I'm trying to demonstrate).
