The parameter should be aimed to evaluate progression/regression of intrastent thrombosis in the time interval between the end of primary PCI and the staged procedure performed 72 hours after.
Intrastent thrombosis at OCT is usually defined as the maximum % value of thrombus area: thrombus area/stent area x 100 in the crosssection with largest thrombus. Cut point would be > 10-16% (for high residual intrastent thrombus).
