I’m working on a bioartificial pancreas for type 1 diabetes and I need a murine immortalized beta cell line for my in vitro studies. I have seen that the most used cell line is the MIN6 (insulinoma) but actually I’m not able to find it easily and those few companies that have it cannot deliver it to my country (Italy). Any suggestion?
You may wish to contact the original lead scientist who developed/described these cells and ask them to send it to you. It will involve an MTA between you, your institution and the donor scientist and his/her institution.
I expect that you have already checked with commonly used repositories such as ATCC and its counterpart in Europe. They usually charge a certain amount of money for their trouble but it is usually quite straightforward.

PS: Glucose-induced insulin secretory profiles of MIN6 (and for that matter all insulinoma cells) are not the same as that of pancreatic beta cells.
Try to contact the company LGC Standars (+3902 24126830). I'm not sure but they have a lot of cell lines available.
