Hello,In one of the published article the statement was mentioned as below :
"After being rinsed in ethanol, the secondary anodized Ti foil was then immersed in 10% H2O2 solution for 12 hours".
What is the meaning of 10% H2O2 solution. Is it wt% or vol%. How shall I confirm it ?
Hi Basker...., in addition to previous answer, In solution (water as a solvent) : wt% and Vol% is the same since density of water is 1 g/mL (assumed). So 10% H2O2 means 10 mL H2O2 in 90 mL H2O or 10 g H2O2 in 90 g H2O. Hope this will be useful

For dissolving a solid in water u have to use wt% and to dissolve a liquid u have to use..vol%
It is conventionally accepted that a composition expressed only as % refers to wt %. This applies to liquids or solids equally. In the case you present, it means a solution of 10 wt.% hydrogen peroxide in water. Probably prepared from a solution of 30 wt.% hydrogen peroxide in water. It is easier to calculate a wt. % because you can easily convert moles to grams, when you want to calculate a volume then you need a density which is usually hard to measure.
