I want to use Bile salt (Sigma 48305) for invitro digestion model, which I want to further subject to invitro fermentation.
What concentration of above mentioned bile salt can be used for simulated intestinal digestion. If anyone has used this chemical in their studies, please do share the information.
When I am directly checking bile tolerance of Lactics, 0.3%is the maximum limit for survival.I also want to know the concentration of bile that can be used maximum for invitrofermentation (as I will be subjecting above IVD sample in fermentation medium)

I have used 0.1% in my experiment to in vitro digestion of lactobacillus. There were 1~3 log reduction in bacterial viability, depending on different strains and matrices. Thank you, even I am following the same reference, but bile salt which we are using is different than what is mentioned in that paper.
But the problem I am facing is during fermentation of the above prepared IVD sample which is inhibiting the bacterial growth (lactics). I want to know the maximum concentration bile (in IVD samples) that can be added to fermentation
0.3% of bile concentration of sutiable growth for bacterial culture u have to increase the concetration of bile salt the growth rate is decrease.im also working that field 0.3% suitble growth of intestinal bacterial condition im working in the field of probiotics from fish intestinal gut tissues
