The proteins absorbance is maximum at 280nm due to the presence of tyrosine and tryptophan residues.

The change in wavelength is related to methods used for protein assay that -in some of them- give color change which reflects on absorbance wavelength.

For 460nm: Trinitrobenzene sulfonate method gives as results a yellow color which absorbs at 460nm.

For 660nm: There is ready to use reagent for protein assay called Pierce 600nm (Thermo Fischer). This reagent used for protein assay at 600nm.

Due to the diversity and complexity of proteins you should take in consideration that the selection of a method for a particular protein assay depends on convenience, sensitivity required and the nature of interfering compounds that may be present.
