Can a triax biocomp fractionator be used to detect fluroscently labelled protein-RNA complex separated via a sucrose density gradient?

Has anyone done any fluorescent-based detection assay using this machine? Is there a protocol? Which fluorescent dye among Cy3 and fluorescein will be suitable (give a high signal over the background) for detection in the fractionator? What minimum concentration of the complex is required to detect the fluorescent signal?
