ELISA for Bovine Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) measurement results from healthy cows were 100 microgram/ml, but how will we convert this to% for interpretation with normal reference range (normal value : 3.8%)
I calculated hemoglobin and used the formula HbA1c/ hemoglobin to find out the percentage. But, i am getting only very small value. what does this mean?

I could not respond to your last chat because of some other urgent works. It was plasma sample. The hemoglobin value I have got is 14 g/dl. I estimated this HbA1c from plasma sample with a bovine HbA1c Elisa kit (quantitative competitive immunoassay).
The normal value that I mentioned was from blood. The reason for the small value of HbA1c obtained from plasma may be due to the difference in sample type. I searched a lot regarding the normal value of HbA1c in plasma, but didnt get.
Do you have any information regarding the availability of Bovine HbA1c ELISA kit for estimation from blood?
