I have been trying to make a buffer that contains 2.5mM ATP in a basic solution. However, whenever I attempt to make the buffer it becomes cloudy, and some sort of precipitate settles at the bottom. If I shake it, it mixes a little bit but it stays very cloudy and if I leave it alone for a few minutes, the precipitate returns. I know that this buffer can definitely work because this buffer was made with pH of 10.25, 10.30, 10.40, 10.50, and 10.55 in this paper (http://www.scielo.br/pdf/pvb/v34n9/v34n9a18.pdf). However, whenever I try to make this buffer, it does not form well. Please help.

Hi,
Can you make the buffer at pH 7.0 , dissolve the 2.5mM ATP and then increase the pH to 10.25, 10.30, 10.40, 10.55?
