To ask your students "what happening of your life experiences?" That means, the main sources not far of our life. In my mind, anything you can make it as teaching souce, not only Internet or TV.

the main sources? My first idea is, it would have been better for me, if I had met but better teachers in my life. But, unfortunately, nobody is perfect.

Thanks for the question. I use several books, sites and previous courses. Generally, i take time to manage the session and with observations i can deduce the understanding level in students. With more than 15 years in high education, i think that i have the sufficient skills and knowledge for praparing a teaching session

Graham Crookes’s book appears to have been written partly in the light of the requirement for experienced teachers to provide a statement of their philosophy of teaching. In Values, philosophies, and beliefs in TESOL: Making a statement, Crookes examines the essential and pivotal role of exploring the origins of teachers’ values, beliefs, and philosophies for the development of teachers’ philosophies of language teaching. With this over-arching purpose in mind, Crookes presents the readers with various sources of teaching philosophies that are widely held in the area of English language teaching. Additionally, the volume addresses questions that have so far remained unanswered in the area of teacher philosophies.

Teachers have to be updated with the knowledge from books, internet sources, TV news, News Papers etc. Experience also plays a great role. All these are important to be a good teacher.

Lastly, what is essentially required that is own idea or thought - the mode of transfer of knowledge to the students, so that all the students (normally heterogeneous) understand the topic of discussion. This measures the success of a teacher.
