Because of the absence of some teaching and learning materials and inability to embark on field trips due to limited time, I normally download practical videos on such topics for the internet and project for students to at least have a feel of how things work or are been used.
Depending on the type of lesson being taught I use teaching learning materials or teaching learning aids?For instance teaching modelling of clay,i need a ball sample of clay to do the demonstration.
on the other hand if there is no clay, i use video as an aid to teach.Thus the use of Visual and Audio-Visual teaching aids
It depends upon the situation...may be Use supplemental resources, paper, video, ppts, white board, chalk, some resource person and sometimes simple discussion except the topic, to support the teaching standards.
We use Pearson's eBook Algebra 1 Common Core as our basic textbook. I use a variety of technology: Khan Academy, iXL, DESMOS online graphing(and Teacher DESMOS, which has free, packaged lesson plans) calculator, Kuta Software. I also make up my own problems. I use the newspaper (Sunday, Monday ), the student is required to select a article, treat the article as a case study, and prepare 3-5 questions and answer them using the weekly general Ethics topic.

I want to accomplish these following things: develop intellectual stamina, develop conceptual understanding, and develop scientific reasoning. To accomplish I use an ancillary consumable. It is a sort of guided Socratic inquiry workbook set. One of our department members has documented improvements in each of these areas from the workbook. After some experience, I have begun to develop some of my own. It is" called "Tutorials in Introductory Physics."
