It is necessary to use some videos

Because of the absence of some teaching and learning materials and inability to embark on field trips due to limited time, I normally download practical videos on such topics for the internet and project for students to at least have a feel of how things work or are been used.

I am old fashioned! Still use chalkboard and preparation to inspire.

Depending on the type of lesson being taught I use teaching learning materials or teaching learning aids?For instance teaching modelling of clay,i need a ball sample of clay to do the demonstration.

on the other hand if there is no clay, i use video as an aid to teach.Thus the use of Visual and Audio-Visual teaching aids

I use black board,chalk and sometimes I also use ppt for better explanation

We use Pearson's eBook Algebra 1 Common Core as our basic textbook. I use a variety of technology: Khan Academy, iXL, DESMOS online graphing(and Teacher DESMOS, which has free, packaged lesson plans) calculator, Kuta Software. I also make up my own problems. I require the boys to keep a math binder notebook with their class notes, homework, and all of their tests and quizzes.

It is a very interesting question.

You can use realia, it means real objets, posters, technology(pcs, datashow, TV set), softwares, your own voice is also a resource, books for students, books for teachers, videos, listening materials, clips and many others. They all depend on the aim or aims of your lessons.

The resources I use depend on the content. It can be chalkboard or whiteboard, computer with datashow and wireless pointer for powerpoint.

Teaching aids

Most of the times use Blackboard, chalk and in case of a complicated figure/diagram using power point presentation. In some occasions shows the scientific videos for motivation.

I use the newspaper (Sunday, Monday ), the student is required to select a article, treat the article as a case study, and prepare 3-5 questions and answer them using the weekly general Ethics topic.

The materials to support the class, it depend on the subject, the content, the majority of the student (age and kind of course). In general: videos, PW, poster, cards, news, date bases, working papers, short researchs, advertisements, slides, recorded conferences.

Any material can be used if it is good selected for your teaching proposal.

The materials to support the class should also be based on objectives of education and evaluation procedures.

Am using a mixture of traditional and ICT-based teaching materials in my classroom. The use of manila paper, cartolina, charts and even the use of smart TV and LCD projector.

It depends on the subject, class size, resources available, group age, etc. they could be presentations, audiovisuals, printed materials, book excerpts, research guides, etc.

I want to accomplish these following things: develop intellectual stamina, develop conceptual understanding, and develop scientific reasoning. To accomplish I use an ancillary consumable. It is a sort of guided Socratic inquiry workbook set. One of our department members has documented improvements in each of these areas from the workbook. After some experience, I have begun to develop some of my own. It is" called "Tutorials in Introductory Physics."

The programme I am affiliated with deals with teaching educators of young children. The course outlines for the Bachelors contain methodologies that are consistent with the notions of integrated, interactive and experiential learning; much of what we require the teachers to engage in when they go back to their own schools or when they enter the system as novice teachers. The materials utilized therefore are varied and appeal to a wide range of learners from the typical discussion /Powerpoint modality to reflective journals, quizzes, online discussions, videos, service learning projects, small and large group activities, concept books, portfolios etc. At the University, we also utilize a learning management system that allows for upload of digital material, videos, recorded lectures, prior discussion topics and readings that allow for flipped classrooms etc. This has really impacted the way I deliver as well as my students' motivation in a positive manner.
