Are you happy working in an academic environment? If your authority and possibilities would be higher, what do you consider to change/improve firstly?
Yes, very happy working in an academic environment. When I was young (in middle/high school) I was attracted to academic environment, particularly philosophy, social science and arts. When I had some courses in anthropology (University/undergrad) I changed my orientation from philosophers' thoughts to ordinary people's own thoughts. For example, the title of my PhD. was/is "Patterns of Thought and Worldviews of Rural Egyptians: An Anthropological Study". It is really interesting to see how ordinary people (even illiterate) construct their own philosophy, wisdom or worldviews impacted by many factors such as religion, heritage, local culture, history, geography/location, and memory, among other things. It is a pleasure (academically and intellectually) to continue investigating the power of imagination and creativity of the grassroots (from the bottom/folk not just from the top/elite).
Yes, I am! It is the perfect profession where you can combine your academic, research, and clinical expertise and develop your skills as an evidence-based practitioner.

Notably, working in academic environment is a blessing because one's mind is focused on the unique domains of teaching and researching. If my authority and responsibilities got higher, I would make sure that those involved in such an environment are treated with respect and their activities are assessed fairly.
I was fortunate, almost from the beginning of my incorporation into the world of work, to develop my work in the academic environment of the University. The academic activity understood as a research-teaching binomial, is creative, has the dimension of service, makes you feel free, if you want you can always configure a new horizon, it allows you to be in touch with new generations and most current trends, . .. I really feel very good with my work.
