Hi Fernando, in fact a number of studies are available on modeling O2 kinetics. I would recommend to get through the textbook of Andy Jones to get an idea.
Hi Fernando, I agree with Alfred, that text book is really good as it explains the VO2 kinetics from different points of view. Also Googling Andrew Jones you can get a lot of papers about VO2 kinetics and exercise. If you are also looking at changes in VO2 kinetics during a bout of exercise after a training period you can download from my profile a paper that I published compering VO2 kinetics after both aerobic and high intensity interval training. hope this help Regards Mariasole
The kinetics of VO2 it is a term that explains how behaves oxygen consumption in dynamic terms while performing a physical effort. It is usually measured during incremental exercise, and all aerobic-anaerobic training interferes with their dynamics. Therefore, there are numerous articles dealing with this term and this line of research, just look for the term kinetics of VO2 you will find many that interest you. Good luck!
Here is a brief list of some papers related to on and off transient oxygen uptake kinetics including its relevant subjects like Prior Exercise, Slow Component, Minimum Velocity (or power) to Elicit VO2max and Pacing Strategies. I hope the list helps to find your answers.
