The most fluently DC marker used in mice is the rat antibody against BST2, clone 120G8, for the depletion of pDCs.
Other clones may be used: as 929F3, for blocking the intestinal Langerhans through the targeting of the Langerin, or 120C11 for dermal DCs, positive in DCSIGN, which are the target of very specific bacteria.
I think you can find many other antibodies, which may deplete or inhibit one or other of the various populations of dendritic cells; it all depends on your goal.
In mice, we regularly use a rat antibody targeting BST2, the clone 120G8 to deplete pDCs in vivo, in studies of viral infection.
It is also possible to deplete or inhibit other dendritic cells, such as Langerhans with 929F3 which target the Langerin for intestinal DCs.
Or deplete or inhibit dermal DC, targeting DCSIGN with 118A8, 120G8 or for the study of various pathogens: such as HIV, CMV or very specific bacteria.
There are still many other antibodies that are used to specifically inhibit or deplete different populations of DCs.
It all depends on your target.
But beware, the clones used for the mice are usually not the same as the clones studied in humans: too many differences between species.
