Anyone with experience in virome sequencing using Oxford nanopore?

I am interested in sequencing the phages present in environmental samples (bioreators, seawater, soil...) using long reads from Oxford Nanopore sequencing. I would like to know if anyone has been able to get decent phage signals sequencing all the microbial community or if they would suggest filtering to enrich the sample with viruses.

Any help is welcomed!

Beatriz Delgado An enrichment strategy is generally required for increasing the sensitivity of Nanopore Sequencing. Otherwise long hours of Nanopore sequencing may be required. Various enrichment strategies like the ARTIC protocol for SARS-CoV-2, The SISPA approach for RNA viruses are available etc.
