In one article, I found that they used (PBS/4% formol) for fixation step instead of trichloroacetic acid(TCA), and Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) instead of Tris base to solubilize protein bound Sulforhodamine, I didn't find any protocol that suggest these modifications, Can anyone explain why they made this changes?

As I understand,
(using 4% formaldehyde-PBS makes it more stable and SDS solubilized biological membranes and makes them more accessible to Sulforhodamine B proteins, and test optimization, I suggest you do both methods and compare the results)
