Hi everyone,

I'm trying to culture MRC-5 cell line. But the cells growing very very slowly. Actually it seems that they aren't growing.

I tried a lots of thing like increasing FBS conc. in media (15% FBS (Not inactivated)), decreasing the growth area (from a T-25 flask to 60 mm dishes), adding L-glu (to 1% final concentration), using self-conditioned filtered media for media exchange (using 1:1 with fresh media) but none of them worked.

Te cells attached to dish very good and in my opinion there is no sign of senescence.

Is there anything else that would help my cells to grow faster?

I'm using DMEM (high glucose) + 1% NEAA + 15 % FBS + 1% L-Glu as feeding media.
