What type of lubricating agent(s) you are using and when you are adding i.e. is there any boundary lubrication that you are doing, because boundary lubrication reduces the water contact with the tablet. Moreover, if your extracts are solvated then it may also affect DT.

lubricant is at 0.5% w/w...we are using minimal lubrication....

There are many factors that may affect the DT of the formulation.

Lubrication is ok.

As the extract is hygroscopic so it may absorb moisture from the atmosphere if the humidity of the room is not well maintained. Did you check the LOD before and after the formulation made?

First: Which is the main excipient you are using? For an ODT could be mannitol or sorbitol (mannitol is faster for solubilization purposes). Second: try mixing your extracts with colloidal silicon dioxide to reduce hygroscopicity and obtain a better mixture in terms of manageability. Third: Use soluble lubricants like sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium  docusate or sodium stearyl fumarate (do not use magnesium stearate). Fourth: I think you will not get a DT of less than 30 seconds with wet granulation. Try using direct compression using excipients like Prosolv ODT (JRS) which are coprocessed mixtures of excipients apt for direct compression; I know the extracts are difficult to compress but the mixture with silicon dioxide or other silicates can render direct compression mixtures with lower hygroscopicity. Fifth: try blends of croscarmellose/crospovidone at different ratios so you can get the exact DT you are looking for.

Yes i have already tried some of the above suggestions you shared but i will try your second suggestion.....due to hygroscopic nature its nearly not possible to directly compress the extract but worth a try...

we maintained LOD of 2 to 3 % and there was no remarkable change in LOD after compression.

Try to use co-processed excipients 

My experience addresses me to silica use in this case of hygroscopic material

Yes MCC would be a excipient of choice here and its giving gud results as well but at the same time grittiness is observed in mouth.
