Hello, I am working with imaging in larval zebrafish. I am interested in looking into the expression patterns of a particular protein in real time along their intestine in response to lipid consumption. The problem I am having designing this experiment is that the larva are too small to be fed without having them immersed in a mixture of EM and lipid. I want to watch the feeding and expression as close to real time as possible, preferably from the moment the lipids enter the intestine. I need to work while the fish are still transparent for the imaging to work like I want it to. Does anyone know if it is possible to feed the fish while they are immobilized on a imaging platform. Thanks in advance
Andrew
