I have recently started working with 3T3-L1 cells. When I start the differentiation of the cells using the standard protocol they look like they differentiate fine (they round up and accumulate lipid droplets) however they also start to peel off the plate around the edges - it looks like the whole layer of the cells is starting to fold up and come off the plate.

Is there a way to prevent this condition and to keep the cells happy?

I appreciate any advice.

Thanks in advance!
