I am planning to use a qualitative approach for it because of its linkage with contextual matters. However, people's perceptions (satisfaction) may be assessed by the closed questionnaire i.e. quantitative. The research question will help to say something about it, so I am also sharing the research question. Research question is- What are the major factors contributing to producing the ‘effectiveness of leadership’ at the local level in Nepal? If you have any case studies on this subject, you can share it. I would be very grateful for your valuable suggestions because it will help my ph.d. study.

Effectiveness of leadership largely decide followers' trust in the leader's competence, benevolence, and integrity; trust is mutually built, hence followers have to be convinced that the leader trusting them and this the leader prove by vulnerable involvement in their deliberations which expose how much he knows and understand the problems they are facing. Such exposure is risky due to the leader's vulnerability but without this vulnerability s/he cannot gain their trust and learn from them essential know-how and phronesis (Greek for practical wisdom) which they learned by practicing jobs and is required for her/his decision-making, problem-solving and innovating. Leadership effectiveness is a major determinant of how well leaders develop high quality relationships (LMX) not only with the specific group members but also with the all group members.
My experience and knowledge effectively helps, but many countries still do not use modern methods for assessing the activities of scientists individually and research centers in general. The scientific world needs integration, and backward countries need support
