Hello, I did PPI analysis following the procedures provided in SPM8 manual. The results at group level show that in some cases the seed area is more correlated with itself in one condition than the other, while in the other cases it is not. How to explain this?

In my study, the ROI (i.e. seed area) is selected for each individual, therefore, slightly different across participants. Is this incorrect? For each individual, the analysis procedure is exactly the same as that provided in SPM8 manual.

Thanks!
