It is legitim anxiety about the human future, I agree with you. In addition; we have to pay attention to the huge consumption of the classical sources of energy. We don’t have to be surprised in the future if we see Gulf countries (for example) buy their electrical needs from Europe!. The EU concentrates today its researches on some topics like renewable power systems and the new reactors that depend on the theory of “nuclear fusion”.
The USA is going to produce more and more of the new shale oil in the near future.
I think, the future is going to show us a lot of incredible radical changes.
Unfortunately, most of the middle east and African countries are passive. So, we can just be waiting.
