If you are working in a laboratory or in close environment where a married couple is working. How comfortable you will be? Since time to time difference comes with one of them, how it will impact the relation with other spouse? How you deal with it.
I am working in a lab and I have a married couple with me. They were colleagues first and then married. They are married for last 7 years. We dont have any sort of problem working with them. They are just colleagues of ours as before and have nothing changed moods anytime. I think if they are understanding and know about it that they are in a working environment they will maintain the good environment at any work place too.
I worked in one place where husband and wife were both P.I. and labs were adjacent to each other. Both behaved very professionally and respectful to each other and to people from each other's lab. In that case it was useful to me so that I was able to use both the labs freely and got done more.
On the other hand, in one lab I worked, where wife was tech and professional and husband was fellow but not that professional, so in that situation, everyone was careful what you say.
