** theory laddenness i.e it uses concepts such as the sun that its meanings i.e a nuclear burning machine vs disc in sky are ladden to a theory and thereby observation is not theory neautral

** external Sources of reliabibity, not intrrnal: Science belief is justifies iff it is the product of a reliable belief forming process

** induction paradox
