this nucleophilic addition reaction only forms C-N single bond

I think the oxygen atom can get more electron and induce additional proton transfer like hydroxyp group(-OH)

I don't know why the oxygen atom can't form hydroxyl group even it has more strong electronegativity.

How can I explain this mechanism?
