Can somebody provide me please, to get the answer to this question?
What is the reason for the number of wells in Microtiter plate that uses in Elisa technique is 96 wells or its multiples in some cases? Nor more neither less of that.

The simple answer: It's probably something we're stuck with through the years. I know there used to be smaller plates (e.g. 12, 24, 48 etc) so it was probably natural to keep increasing the number the same way.
It also maintains a 2:3 matrix on the plates, which allows to easily run your samples in duplicate or triplicates. So if you scale up from 96 to 384 you have the same ratio which is easier to work with when you look at it and arrange your wells.
96 is probably the one that was used the most so it's now the popular one.

Microplates of different numbered well are also available but 96 well plates are well standard format which will allow you to duplicate or triplicate your experiments on the same plate and with serial dillution feature.

There are 48 wells in Elisa technique for small samples like in animal researches.
