while performing the pH test for water saturated KCl is added in water sample, what's its purpose and what if we forget to add KCl in water during pH testing?
To maintain the constant potential KCl saturated solutions is used. KCl has sufficient Cl ions . Cl has neutral pH.
t's not clear if yu are asking about the pH of water or the pH of, e.g., a suspension of soil in water
Maybe you want to check: https://www.researchgate.net/post/Please_tell_me_more_details_why_pH_in_1_M_KCl_is_higher_than_pH_in_water
The sections are about awareness, practice, and perception regarding waste management. Thanks
