Usually, during magnet sweeping in an X-band CW-EPR measurement in a Bruker EMX Plus spectrometer, the microwave absorption by the sample can be observed as the Receiver Level cursor moves right-to-left (software WinEPR acquisition). Lately, we have measured some heterometallic compounds having Co(II), which during magnet sweeping makes the current diode cursor moves right-to-left in a defined magnet field range, while the receiver level stays still. Any idea of what is happening? I'm pretty sure it is related to the compound properties...
