I have a imidazole compound that gets dissolved in DMSO, Ethanol and in PBS. But at the time of introduction to the cell culture medium, It forms a icy crystal shaped precipitates. How to eliminate the precipitation and use the compound to treat the cells ?

If the compound dissolves in PBS, it should not form crystal when introduced in Cell Culture Media but I have seen this when a compound dissolved in DMSO is introduced in CCM.
Try to make a high concentration of your compound by dissolving in small amount of DMSO, and then add a small amount of solution to CCM to make your desire concentration. Hope, this helps.
Suhadha PARVEEN Sadiq Are you adding your compound and DMSO mixture directly to the cells? Instead of adding the compound directly to the cells, try putting the volume needed into a fresh tube. Then, take some media from the plate you'll be treating and add it to fresh tube with your compound to try to dilute it enough so that it won't crystallize.
Imidazole solubility is good in DMSO. Try to worm it, I think it is DMSO crystals, not your drug. As DMSO can be freezer at 18.5 oC only. you can try the DMSO with media only to find the source problem.
