Anomie is the key to study suicide, in my humble opinion.
There are many reasons why people commit suicide, but of course many reasons remain unknown. The most important of these reasons are psychological or social as a result of the society does not accept the person for certain reasons.
Suicide most of the time speaks of inability to adapt. There is also the derived blackmail suicide and the most stupid, the copycat suicide. But this is a very high suicide rate. Maybe those youngsters should be given the opportunity to find their own identity, or deepen its problems, through art expression. Quite illusory, isn't it? A sad rate that must weight heavy on society.
Suicide is one of the priority conditions in the WHO Mental Health Gap Action Programme (mhGAP) launched in 2008, which provides evidence-based technical guidance to scale up service provision and care in countries for mental, neurological and substance use disorders. In the WHO Mental Health Action Plan 2013–2020, WHO Member States have committed themselves to working towards the global target of reducing the suicide rate in countries by 10% by 2020.

Stress factors such as financial difficulties or problems in interpersonal relationships often play a role. Suicidal thoughts and suicidal attempts may happen due to persistence of some risk factors and psychiatric disorders, such as economic and social crisis, depression, anxiety, etc.
There are actually several types of suicide. The most famous is traditional (or ritual) suicide - from the Japanese seppuku to the suicide of an officer of the Russian imperial army (for example, in case of impossibility to pay a card debt, etc., the list, of course, is much longer). If a person does not perform the necessary actions to service his body, then of course, violations occur in the body that can result in suicide. The current situation with the maintenance of the human body, with the timely implementation of preventive measures of the person is simply disastrous. The human brain is disoriented in a huge number of problems in the human body that it is trying to resolve. At the moment, we can state the fact that almost all people do not perform the necessary actions to maintain their body in good condition. This applies to any country and almost all people of all ages. What actions should be taken? The end result of these actions is a powerful effect on the nervous system, which brings the balance of neurotransmitters to normal. Depression, anxiety, suicide, various disorders in the nervous system - all these problems are solved in one way. Ignorance of how to care for my body led to the fact that every day a person is under severe psychological stress, the human organs are destroyed and the brain in some cases does not have time or can regulate this shaft of problems. It is necessary to monitor the reward system of the brain. The whole history of man is an attempt by artificial drugs to make changes in the activity of the brain. In some cases this is justified. In some cases, artificial intervention harms a person, since the basic processes that are responsible for finding a person’s body in a healthy state are not regulated.
"Losing meaning in life" is the general factor of committing suicide. The phrase "Losing meaning in life" is so broad and in such a way that it applies to includes rich or poor, people who find that their life does not have any meaning. They might be depressed, alone, unsuccessful, faithless, or soulless. In a word, they do not have the desire to live a MEANINGLESS life (Very rich and very successful people, young and old, committed suicide because they lost the sense/meaning of life.
I conduct research on suicide of combat vets. I served as an AF ER medic during the Vietnam Conflict. We lose 20 vets a day in the US. Only 6 of these 20 are being seen at a Vet's Facility? The suicide rates of active military are also climbing, especially the Marine Corp.
Based on psychosocial autopsies I've conducted here are my clinical findings:
Males are more likely to complete. Alcohol is highly associated w/ violent endings, inc. suicide. In the US we have easy access to weapons of mass destruction. Untreated or under treated Clinical Depression is a potent risk factor. Increasing hopelessness, helplessness, and worthlessness are potent factors as well.
I've identified what I refer to as the "suicidal trance" and the" point of no return". suicides are rarely impulsive. An accumulation of increasing desperation and despair are the final elements. And I believe that a proportion of OD deaths are suicides.
