Good day, I got cfu count for 1.8 x 10^8 in 10^-5, 1.3 x 10^9 in 10^-6 and 5.7 x 10^9 in 10^-7 in my triplicate serial dilution for L. lactis subsp. cremoris. Although the cfu count per plate was lesser when the dilution factor increased but from the calculation, it seen it has higher cfu/ml when the dilution factor increased. So, may I know what is the theory or reason behind? Thank you in advance.
