Extracurricular Activities such as cultural activities, games, painting, singing and other these types of works are important for the students for inspirations.

As you mentioned in the presentation of your question, extracurricular activities are very important because they strengthen creativity and physical skills in order to have greater mental, physical and intellectual health potential to continue learning a certain discipline.
Sports activities contribute to this, both as a spectator and as an active participant of the sport, individually and in groups.
Also the socialization in cultural activities such as choral groups, artistic activities such as theater (spectator and actor), visits to museums to know all the modalities of past and present art.
Also, development of other cultural activities to develop competences that help in the promotion of learning; such as, oratory, oral and written expression, translation and knowledge of other languages, skills for searching and handling of manual and automated information, etc.
Next I propose a publication of my authorship that deals with these competences, which I have described as the missing competences, or transversal competences.

Como usted lo menciona en la presentación de su pregunta, las actividades extracurriculares son muy importantes pues fortalecen la creatividad y las aptitudes físicas a fin de tener mayor potencial de salud mental, física e intelectual para seguir aprendiendo cierta disciplina.
A esto contribuyen las actividades deportivas, tanto como espectador como participante activo del deporte, en forma individual y grupal.
También la socialización en actividades culturales como grupos corales, actividades artísticas como el teatro (espectador y actor), visitas a museos para conocer todas las modalidades el arte pasado y presente.
Asimismo, desarrollo de otras actividades culturales para desarrollar competencias que auxilian en la promoción del aprendizaje; como son, la oratoria, la expresión oral y escrita, traducción y conocimiento de otros idiomas, habilidades para búsqueda y manejo de información manual y automatizada, etc.
A continuación propongo una publicación de mi autoría que versa sobre dichas competencias, que yo he descrito como las competencias que faltan, o competencias transversales.

In any area of performance, direct contact with real activities helps maximize learning. Extra-curricular or curricular internships, training courses in companies, technical visits, case studies, in loco research, among others will always generate productive discussions in the classroom. This motivation will benefit everyone and the classroom will be contagious and enjoyable. Unfortunately, we do not always have the conditions we would like, but we can not be discouraged and we should always try to use creativity to overcome any difficulty.

Using extracurricular activities offers significant benefits which are well worth the extra planning and effort. Such activities that are not part of the course are designed for the students to enhance their general academic and soft skills. In point of fact, extracurricular activities can be very rewarding to students because they allow students to see the practical side of the outcomes they have attained at school, and in this way, they offer students the advantage of personal, educational, and even social development. Alternatively, the policy can provide students with educational activities by which they can enrich and broaden their experiences which form an integral part of the targeted curriculum.
