Who  uses Custodiol cardioplegia in heart transplantation? Any experience with long preservation times? More then 4 hours? And did you face any problem with hypersodiemic donors? More than 160mg/dl? We recently had some difficulties after restart and in two cases the patients needed some days of ECMO to return to normal function. Anyone else? My feeling is that this problem can be exacerbated in severely hypersodiemic donor. What do you think?
