Vegetation loss or forest degradation on hill tracts is one of the vital issue behind landslide on hilly area. To prevent man made degradation of forest, it is essential to monitor forest area numerically. For simultaneous monitoring, there is no alternative using Geographic Information System (GIS) Specially ArcGIS (ESRI)!- for image analysis(image classification) and further procedures . here my enquiry is , what would be the best method to interpret collected data and further monitoring regulation.
