Has anybody tried practically both substances: Matrigel and Geltrex? I found some literature in the Internet about the differences and similarities between those two substances. Maybe someone tried them practically and could share the experience? Especially I'm interested in application of Geltrex in inverse invasion and spheroid invadopodia formation studies.
Geltrex IS matrigel made by a particular company. Except for one spectacular failure in quality control, I have found Geltrex to be much more consistent than other sources of matrigel.
