I would like to measure the energy gap in my samples (which is around 3.2 eV) using electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS). I am having a lot of problems subtracting the Zero Loss Peak to see the gap. I found a paper (Brockt, G., & Lakner, H. (2000). . Micron (Oxford, England : 1993), 31(4), 435–40) where they did it.
